Sign-up to be a Job Shadow Host by 5 p.m.

Can you recall a time here at UMBC when you wondered what the working world had in store for you? Wouldn’t it have been helpful to have a few alumni contacts before graduation or maybe even an opportunity to get “on-the-job” experience by spending the day with an alum specifically matched to your career interests?

The UMBC Shriver Center and Alumni Association have teamed up to offer UMBC Student/Alumni Job Shadow Day (a one-day work based learning experience for current students) and we NEED YOUR HELP! 

To express interest in participating in the January 2010 program, simply create a Professional Network profile in UMBCworks, at www.careers.umbc.edu/mentors. This is our new network for alumni and employers looking to mentor students informally. Be sure to sure to check off “Job Shadow Host” in the “Activities Interested” area.
